Write to Filmstar!
Last week we introduced you to Filmstar, the new movie magazine from Blackfish Publishing, coming your way on 28 May.
This week, we need your help.
We've got a wonderfully-designed letters page, but no letters to fill it. Maybe you could write one? But what should you write about? Whatever you like, of course (it's your letter!), but here are a few ideas…
1. What movies are you really looking forward to this year? What are you dreading? And what did you think of recent stuff at the cinema? (Indeed, it we were to run a '2009 Films of the Year’ awards right here, right now, what should win?)
2. What actor is really on fire at the moment? Which directors can do no wrong? (And, conversely, who should never be allowed to work again?) And while we're at it, what properties (books, TV shows, comics, whatever) are begging to be turned into movies, and which should Hollywood leave well alone?
3. And what about Filmstar itself? What would you like to see from the magazine, and what would you hate to see it become? What are you looking forward to, and what turns you off?
