If the answer is yes, then you may be who we're looking for.
Death Ray currently has two job vacancies for those who wish to boldly embark on a science fiction adventure. We're looking for people who have drive, who can operate alone and in a tight team environment, have excellent people and communication skills and strong creative talent. We're a young company as of the moment, and there are many avenues of opportunity lying ahead. Join us now and who knows where you may end up in five years: the upper stratosphere really is the limit. This is a very exciting time for Blackfish Publishing, and we'd like to share it with you.

Production Editor – Death Ray magazine
DESCRIPTION
We need a great production editor to join the Death Ray editorial team. We're looking for someone with a sharp eye for detail, fantastic organisational skills, and an ability to channel the energies of a highly creative group of people. Zero tolerance of deadline shirkers and a way with a big stick and a small carrot are desirable qualities.
Obviously, it helps if you have a passion for SF and its associated genres. This is not essential, but you will need to know the difference between a Romulan and a Vulcan – or at least have the ability to learn very fast indeed.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will have at least one year's experience as a production editor, or two years' experience as a production assistant (or equivalent position) in print media.
